INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS AND GROUPS

Western Australian Sustainable Energy Association
The Western Australian Sustainable Energy Association (WA SEA) Inc. was officially incorporated in July, 2002. The Association was established to promote the development and adoption of sustainable energy technologies and practices in Western Australia.

Alternative Technology Association
The Alternative Technology Association (ATA) is a non-profit community group that aims to use and promote environmentally friendly technologies. The ATA is interested in renewable energy sources such as the sun, wind and water; building with natural materials and conserving energy.

The Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy
The Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) represents the interests of the renewables energy, cogeneration, gas-fired generation, waste-to-energy and energy efficiency industry.

Australian and New Zealand Solar Energy Society
The Australian and New Zealand Solar Energy Society (ANZSES) exists to promote scientific, social and economic development through the environmentally sound utilisation of solar energy.

Australian Wind Energy Association
The Australian Wind Energy Association (AusWEA) represents the Australian wind energy community and promotes the sensitive and appropriate uptake of wind energy.

Renewable Energy Export Network
The Renewable Energy Export Network (REEN) has been formed, following consultations with renewable energy exporters and government agencies, to assist the Australian renewable energy industry to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the burgeoning global market for renewable energy goods and services.

WA Sustainable Industry Group
A network of professionals from industry, government and the community have joined forces to promote Eco-Efficiency and Cleaner Production in Western Australia. Their aim is to share and promote innovative approaches to environmental management to maximise the ecological and financial performance of industry and to assist in creating a cleaner Western Australia.

Australasian Energy Performance Contracting Association
Members of the Australasian Energy Performance Contracting Association are formed from State Government departments and private companies interested in the performance contracting process.

The Association's mission is to act as the peak body to support the commercial growth of members and their market through education, industry promotion, self-regulation and industry standards.

Talk Energy is an international web-site community geared towards sustainable energy solutions, sharing ideas and showcasing innovative alternative energy products.
